What is Medical Abbreviation of AHRF?
The medical abbreviation “AHRF” stands for “Acute Hypoxemic Respiratory Failure.”
It refers to a condition in which there is a sudden onset of respiratory failure characterized by low oxygen levels in the blood (hypoxemia) with or without an increase in carbon dioxide levels (hypercapnia).
